Perfect Fix for Acne Prone Skin

I have tried product after product in hopes my acne would clear up. Lets face it, we are all after that miracle product that will clear up our skin almost instantaneously but in reality, we know that will not happen unless we are willing to spend a significant amount of money. This product will not clear up your acne in an hour, overnight, or in 24 hours but it will do wonders for your skin. I have been using this as a nightly spot treatment on my breakouts and I can honestly say that when I wake up in the morning, I notice the difference. My breakouts are not as large and not as red which as you can imagine, I am so happy about! Lush's Grease Lightning Tea Tree "Cleanser" has been the most effective acne treatment I have tried. I put the cleanser in quotations because it really is not a cleanser, it is more of a spot treatment gel.
This product contains thyme, tea tree, rosemary and aloe vera gel. I expected it to dry out my skin but it didn't at all. I was pleasantly surprised. I was also afraid of the size of the bottle, I spent around $14.00 on 1.5 oz bottle. But it has lasted me such a long time since it isn't necessary to use much. A little goes a long way! I am so pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone with acne troubles!

DermaE Vitamin E 12,000 IU Creme

This is hands down, the best moisturizer I have ever used. I do not use this during the day but rather before I go to sleep at night. The reason for that I feel as though this takes some time to absorb into your skin and I would not want to wear makeup over it due to the fact that I have oily skin as it is. When I wake up in the morning, my skin feels amazing and I swear it helps a bit with my acne. I have been using this for a while now and it is has been repurchased a few times. It is quite pricey as it is sold on Amazon.com for $27.00 but it is well worth it. I also have seen this in my local Whole Foods Market. It lasts a very long time since the consistency is so thick that it is not necessary to use a whole lot.

Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation

Alright, so, this product was so raved about on YouTube that I just had to try it out. I was so excited to see if I finally liked a drug store foundation but boy was I disappointed. The packaging looked nice although I was not very fond of the fact that you have to pour it out instead of a pump. It was hard to control the amount that came out on my hand. I wanted to love this product so much, but the application was an absolute pain. Although the color was a perfect match, it looked caked on the skin if I did not blend for a long while and even then it looked horrible on my face. On top of that, it did not last me longer than 3 hours. When I heard the term "nearly naked" I thought it would have been a light coverage and that it would look as though I was not wearing any foundation. That is usually the type of foundation I go for but I was very wrong. This definitely was a bust for me. Sorry, Revlon :(

A Healthier Me

Currently, I weigh about 145 pounds. Now, being just 4'11, it is not considered a healthy weight. I have been downright depressed about it, hating looking at myself in the mirror and dreading getting up and getting dressed in the morning when I used to be 120 pounds as I used to take dance classes every day of the week. Most of my weight is gained on my hips, my stomach and my arms. I constantly tell myself I need to eat healthy, I need to exercise more but it never seems to motivate me. I am totally, 100% against taking a pill to "lose weight", I think it is too unhealthy for you body by just being full of chemicals. I have decided to quit complaining about how heavy I have gotten. One thing I realized is that you need to love and appreciate your body before you can do anything. You have got to WANT to nourish it with the things it needs. I am no longer doing this for appearance purposes only, I am doing this for a healthier me. Exercising for just one hour a day can improve your energy drastically instead of that 500 calorie coffee I had been sucking down. Eating what I know is good for me has also improved my energy, and motivation. Overall, this has made me happier. I have lost a total of 10 pounds by just loving my body and doing what is best for it. I am determined to make myself healthier.
